And these softwares do not offer the users any possibility of resizing the window. Some applications are simply IMHO poorly designed to a higher resolution only. I can think of no way to resize only the offending window or dialog without shrinking eveverything else on your screen as well. Best I can offer is to use the keyboard interface to slide the window arround on the screen to see those portions which do not fit.
